Text 10
Good morning, everyone. In today’s presentation,I’d like to talk about my personal experience. When I was in middle school,I loved playing basketball very much. However one day in the 8th grade,I suddenly felt great pain in my left leg.I even couldn’t stand up.Then I was taken to the hospital by my parents. After getting there,we were told that I needed an operation immediately.
I was really sad to hear that, and at the same time I was scared. My parents kept telling me that everything would be OK.I spent one week in hospital. Finally,I was allowed to go back home. But I had to sit in a wheelchair.
I was determined to change that, though it meant I had to make the effort to learn to walk again.Luckily, four months later,I could finally walk by myself without using a wheelchair.Though I still feel a bit sad that I can’t play basketball as before,I’m grateful that I can travel with my family and hang out with my friends freely again.
