W:Maybe it’s some kind of personal problem,I guess.

W:Adam is busy, too. He is preparing for a speech contest.

M:Then what about Jack?

W:He’s in China right now on holiday. He won’t be back until next Friday. So,Henry,do you have to write all day tomorrow?

M:Yeah? Didn’t you have Chinese food before in the United State?

W:Oh,of course I did,but none of them was very authentic.

M:I see.Anyway,you were familiar with chopsticks already,right?

W:Yes.But I learned about other traditional dining rules in China last night.

M:Such as?

W:Well, for example,Chinese people share all the dishes at the dinner table.

M:Don’t you do that in America?

W:Did the neighbors see anything?

M:One neighbor,Mr Jones, said that he saw a dog run out into the street in front of the car.

W:Hmm.No one else mentioned a dog.Did you talk to Mr Bates? He is the man who was selling newspapers on the street corner.

M:Oh yeah.He said it was the blue car’s fault.

W:Really?

M:Yeah. He said that the man in the blue car wasn’t paying attention. When the red car stopped,he didn’t notice until it was too late.He was the one who hit the red car.

If you ask me whether TV will take the place of radio,I will say no.The most obvious difference between radio and TV is that you listen to and watch television, but you just listen to the radio. In this way,a radio can make you imaginative because it forces you to form pictures in your mind rather than providing you with visual information directly, which is what a television does.

In addition,it’s more convenient to use a radio than to use a television. You don’t have to be in the same room where the radio is in order to listen to the programs, but you do have to be in the same room where a television is in order to watch it.

A radio is also portable. You can listen to the radio while driving in a car, jogging or even walking around.Although portable televisions do exist, you can’t really watch TV while you are jogging, for example. Both radio and TV offer the audience immediate access to information. Most radio stations broadcast news reports at regular half-hour or hourly breaks, while television news only broadcast a few times each day.
