This is a story about a man who works in a big factory. His name is John.I think he is a little strange,so short and dirty. He always wears an old red hat and he always carries a rubbish bag.He usually spends his rest time and his lunchtime walking around collecting bottles that are thrown away.

One day, when I finished my job,I heard my manager asked the“bottle man”what he was going to do with all those bottles he had collected.I thought that this “bottle man”would sell them for recycling. However,he answered,“I'll give them to my neighbor. He is badly ill and he can't work.”

I was surprised, and asked him,“You mean you collect all those bottles just to help your neighbor?”

“I know it doesn't help him much,”he said,“but at least it can help him a little.”
